Well Women Exams

Well woman exams are the foundation for wellness, health promotion and disease identification and management throughout your life. A well woman exam entails a routine pelvic examination and Pap testing. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that all women have their first women's health exam after  age 21, and then every three years.  A periodic well woman exam is good medical care and it also gives you the opportunity to learn more about beneficial health habits as well as an overall view of the best ways to take care of yourself.
